We are currently looking for a highly motivated, passionate retail leader to become a Supervisor in Charge in Middlemount. You will assist the overall performance and operations of grocery and customer satisfaction are achieved through effective merchandising and stock management. You may be required to work a rotational roster which will include nights, weekends and public holidays. Your leadership skills will be continuously utilised as you perform your role in this physical and hands-on environment.

Essential Criteria

1. High level of personal integrity and accountability for performance
2. Willing to work casual in the evenings and weekends
3. Demonstrate a good level of customer service
4. Previous management experience and skills
   1. Ability to lead and manage a medium sized team (previous supervisory experience of a small team essential)
   2. Can demonstrate ability to follow company policies and procedures
5. Experience in training and coaching staff in various work areas and topics
6. Understanding of merchandising techniques
7. Understanding of how to monitor and control wastage
8. Experience in stock rotation and stock management
9. Understanding of OH&S and food safety requirements
10. Able to communicate clearly and negotiate with people from different backgrounds and roles (such as suppliers, customers, or staff)
11. Basic level of computer skills
12. Good literacy and numeracy skills (for example: ability to conduct stocktakes, comprehend company policies, fill in forms)

Preferred Criteria

1. Retail industry experience strongly preferred
2. Previous grocery/stock management experience preferred
