Return-It was launched in 2018 to focus on making recycling simple, accessible and rewarding. A part of Re.Group, an Australian owned company, focused on providing solutions for recycling and recovery of resources from waste.
Return-It currently operates throughout Australia with a new depot ready to open its doors mid March in Moranbah (operating 6 days a week).
About the Job:
We are looking for casual assistance to work in our depot located in Moranbah
This is a fast paced position, requiring sorting through containers of bottles/cans dropped off by customers. Shift lengths will vary from 4 - 8hrs and could start as early as 8:00am and finish at 4:00pm. This is a great opportunity to help your community and the environment whilst getting paid!
Successful applicants will be offered a combination of rostered shifts and on-call/short notice shifts It is desirable the casuals have flexibility with start times and days available. Pay rate is dependent on age.
What will you do?
- Greet and make customers feel welcome
- Sort containers in a warehouse setting;
- Handle products weighing up to 15kg;
- Fast paced conveyor work;
- Check the quality of the products;
- Help keep the depot clean.
You are hardworking, enjoy helping customers and are used to standing on your feet for long periods of time. You have the flexibility to assist for various shifts including WEEKENDS and the ability to lift 15kgs. You have a great "can do approach" and sound computer skills. Your willingness to learn and your enthusiasm about recycling is contagious Forklift licence will be highly regarded.
