The Opportunity:

A new vacancy is now available for a Warranty & Parts Administrator to join the Komatsu business based at the Emerald Branch.

Reporting to the Service Manager, you will be responsible for compiling and maintaining warranty information for claims being submitted to the factory. You will liaise with the team and participate in the communications to ensure excellent Customer Service and that all relevant field campaigns are carried out in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the Regional Fleet Managers, Field Service and Workshop employees as required.
  • Liaise with the Warranty Departments in Brisbane, Perth and Sydney and other key staff
  • Action warranty enquiries / requirements on a daily basis or as required.
  • Receive warranty requests and ensure they are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Create job packets and distribute to the appropriate jobs.
  • Tracking jobs and ensuring follow ups are carried out.
  • Tracking and maintaining the return parts warranty register.
  • Assist with reports as required.

The knowledge, skills and abilities we’re looking for:

  • Experience in the same or similar position.
  • Well-developed written and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of SAP systems highly desirable.
  • Proven experience with Microsoft Office programs.
  • A high level of detail and accuracy.
  • Current drivers licence
