In this role, you will provide quality customer focussed supply, administrative and technical service to internal and external clients of the College of Trades. Your focus is to support courses within your vocation discipline to ensure consumables and equipment maintenance meet course delivery needs.

Position Requirements

  • Knowledge of ability to acquire knowledge of computerised and manual supply management systems, Windows-based computer systems and the Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Knowledge or the ability to acquire knowledge of non-trade maintenance tasks.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Load Shifting, Dangerous Goods Handling and Occupational Workplace Health and Safety practices appropriate for this position.
  • Knowledge or ability to acquire knowledge of CQUniversity finance and purchasing related policies and procedures.
  • Building and sustaining positive relationships with team members and clients and responding to changes in client needs and expectations.
  • Using sound interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to liaise and consult with suppliers and staff and deal with difficult clients.
  • Working in a team environment with a minimum of supervision and completing tasks successfully within timeframes, including the ability to manage time, resolve routine problems and meet deadlines with minimal supervision and direction
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver technical assistance, maintenance and repairs in the area of vocational engineering in accordance with relevant standards and policy.
