About the Role:

We are seeking enthusiastic, hard-working Trade Qualified Chefs 2 years post qualification experience required looking to enjoy the outback experience and earn good money. You will join an energetic team of shift workers dedicated to exceeding customer expectations and maintain the quality control standards of our busy operation. It’s important that you demonstrate high service standards yourself, and that you’re able to problem-solve effectively under pressure.

 Our preference is for people with a positive, can-do attitude. Learning from qualified chefs and business managers, you’ll build the skill sets, required for your future. In addition to training, we support you with well-documented systems, a safe environment (we have zero tolerance for inappropriate behaviour), and subsidised accommodation.

Main Duties: 

Include but are not limited to, Responsible for preparation, cooking and presentation of all food items within the kitchen Responsible for the overall cleanliness and presentation of the kitchen Care and maintenance of kitchen equipment Supervision, training and development of other kitchen employees Menu planning and pricing Responsible for daily operation of kitchen Practising proper workplace health and safety procedures

Selection Criteria:

You have:

  • A great sense of adventure.
  • A desire to meet new people and see new places.
  • A genuine passion for hospitality/customer service.
  • Good communication skills and a track record of working well with others.
  • A driver’s licence is an advantage, though not essential.
  • A demonstrated commitment to continual learning and improvement.
