Gransolar (GRS) provides full Operation & Maintenance services for the entire life-cycle of both its own PV solar plants as well as for third parties. These services include remote monitoring & control, on-site inspections, & preventive & corrective interventions.
Lilyvale Solar Farm (Lilyvale, QLD) was completed in December 2018 & is one of Australia’s largest photovoltaic plants. GRS O&M is responsible for the operation & maintenance of the plant. We are seeking a Planner to join our Maintenance team, responsible for maximising maintenance & process efficiencies.
Oversee the day-to-day maintenance of the facility, to support the achievement of the company’s goals, & ensure safe work practices & procedures are observed;
Manage the Plant's work order system, work order back logs & monitor & oversee preventative / predictive maintenance activities at the plant;
Plan & coordinate plant maintenance activities, as required, to maximize plant availability;
Plan & coordinate mechanical & electrical maintenance activities during forced or scheduled outages & ensure tasks are completed according to established schedules;
Prepare & distribute Work Management KPIs & assist in developing improvement plans for maintenance teams on a regular basis;
Ensure plant is in production & no issues or breakdowns are unattended to;
Develop weekly plans & facilitate weekly planning meetings in line with stardised GRS planning processes;
Support daily planning process & make information available to ensure successful work execution in a timely & effective manner as well as capturing outcomes;
Analyze trends in monthly data & implement action plans to correct;
Implement & drive continuous improvement activities through implementation of change management processes & best practices;
Assisting in financial budget preparation, forecasting & capital budget expenditures of maintenance strategies; &
Ensure compliance with the Company's safety & environmental policies as well as Federal, State & local regulations.

Qualifications & Experience Requirements
Technical or engineering education or equivalent;
Proficiency in MS Office, especially with Excel (spreadsheets, modeling, & pivot tables). Experience in use of inventory management software, Infolite, Suntrack, PV Scada System desirable; Knowledge & experience with maintenance management or asset management enterprise system;
Proven track record creating challenging but achievable weekly schedules;
Knowledge of Photo Voltaic plant operation, & reference knowledge of applicable standards highly desirable;
Experience in industrial maintenance supervision or management;
Extensive background in plant maintenance, including the repair & maintenance of electrical & mechanical equipment;
Practical field experience involving equipment installation, maintenance, overhaul & operation;
Reasonable knowledge of maintenance budgeting & cost control methodologies;
Bilingual English & Spanish; &
Current ”C” class QLD driving licence.
Salary: AUD$110,000-$125,000 plus super depending on experience.

Assist coordination of visitor inductions for Engineering guests, travel booking and approvals for the Engineering department
Work collaboratively with all internal and external stakeholders across to achieve the engineering business' work and financial and targets
Liaise with other administration teams as and when required
Compose, format and complete changes to PRT's and Engineering documentation as required
Weekly audits of Engineering Teams to assure scanning and archiving boxes are in place and work orders/ documentation separated into correct areas
Build and maintain an engineering departmental leave register
Monitor compliance training for Engineering department
Monitor and prompt team adherence to LIF's, CRM's and Critical Controls
Assist planners with weekly printing and work pack assembly
